Jake seems to spend a lot of time with different kinds of women. A recurring theme in our readings this semester seems to be how women are seen and treated throughout America’s history. Do you see more similarities or differences between the way white women were treated and they way women of different races were?
there is one particular part in part II where Jake is talking to Ray about the differences between women and race is involved. When it comes to being escorts white women are all about the business while the black women seem to enjoy being friendly and hosting. This isn't exactly about how they are treated but it is an interesting contrast on how they treat their clients.
