After reading Home to Harlem

Home to Harlem seems to have many aspects of materials that can be discussed for a whole semester.
There were a lot of ideas that was introduced in the book, such as stereotype, history of Harlem, inter-racism, racism, violence, love, frustrations and more. It seems that reading this book and also posting and reply to a post really helps go deeper into the reoccurring themes that I read in this book.  Among all the ideas and themes that I encountered in this book, I was especially interested in the inter-racism. I didn't come across many inter-racism within books that I read read. After reading this book, what was your favorite theme or ideas that Claude Mckay mentioned in the book?
